In a shocking display of inhumane abuse of animals, the Palestinian Mayor of Hebron, Mr. Tayseer Abu Sneineh promised the Palestinian citizens of Hebron a 20 Israeli shekel (5 US dollars) prize for every dog killed. The reward was promised in an interview in a local radio station. The mayor clarified that people should kill as many dogs as possible and will get 100 shekel for killing 5 dogs.

After the horrible offer from the mayor, shocking videos surfed on social media showing Palestinians shooting dogs in the streets of Hebron and images of dog corpses who appears to have been tortured, abused and killed for the 20 shekel prize.

The mayor later clarified in a post on his official Facebook page, that the reward was offered in an attempt to combat the growing number of stray dogs in Hebron.

Those familiar with the mayor's background should not be surprised by his barbarism. The Mayor, Mr. Tayseer Abu Sneineh was convicted for his role in the 1980 Hebron terrorist attack in which six innocent Jewish civilians - three Israelis, two American Israelis, and one Canadian - were gunned down and murdered by a Fatah squad of 4 Palestinian terrorists in Hebron.
