Kickstarter United (OPEIU Local 153) is the union of designers, support specialists, product managers, engineers, and more who power Kickstarter. We fought to form this union to strengthen Kickstarter’s mission and values and, today, we’re fighting for a fair contract that is in line with those same values.

We are asking Kickstarter’s executives and board members to match their actions to their words by:

1. Codifying the 32-hour, 4-day work week that has been our reality for over three years

2. Raising compensation for the lowest-paid employees, who are often front-line support to our valuable community of backers and creators.

On Thursday, October 2nd we stepped out on strike on the strength of our belief in these new standards of work. We want others to see what’s possible when you imagine a better future and you’re ready to stand together to fight for it.

Tell management to meet our demands, stop surface bargaining and end the strike!
