The Director of Safety, Health & Environment at Kier is allowing construction to continue during The Pandemic, despite a Kier site recently having a Covid Outbreak. Kier has not Re-furloughed workers so they can receive an income and safely be able to stay home, despite the second wave of Covid-19. Instead, Kier cut 6500 workers' salaries by 7.5% to 20% for three months from 1 April 2020.
