The right to fair representation is a cornerstone of our democracy. When communities lose meaningful representation, the democratic process is weakened and voters’ rights are placed at risk. Every Louisianan deserves an equal opportunity to have their voice heard and their vote fairly represented. Louisiana should move forward in a way that strengthens participation, transparency, and trust in our electoral process.
