EGLE is reviewing Enbridge's Line 5 tunnel permit application. EGLE Director Phil Roos has the power to listen to Michiganders and deny these permits, protecting the Great Lakes from this risky project that will pump 23 million gallons of oil and natural gas liquids through them each day.

• Fight Climate Change - This project would lock us into decades of fossil fuel use and add 27 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions every year.
• End the Risk of Oil Spills - Enbridge’s 72-year-old Line 5 pipeline has already spilled 1.1 million gallons of oil. In 2010, another Enbridge pipeline caused one of the largest inland oil spills in U.S. history in the Kalamazoo River.
• Protect the Lakes We All Share - Michigan's freshwater is one-fifth of the world’s surface water supply. The Great Lakes provide drinking water to 40 million people and support communities across multiple states and provinces.
