Tell Mount Sinai to kick Amazon off their Board

Pregnant workers shouldn’t have to choose between their jobs at Amazon and their babies. We’ve heard over 400 stories from pregnant Amazon workers about their experience working while pregnant. From miscarriages to premature labor, every day, preventable tragedies are occurring in Amazon warehouses due to the company’s refusal to offer reasonable accommodations to workers.

Edith Cooper, who chairs the Board Committee responsible for overseeing working conditions at Amazon, also sits on the Board of Trustees at Mount Sinai Hospital. We're sending emails to Mount Sinai demanding that they remove Edith Cooper from their Board of Trustees. Mount Sinai prides itself on being one of the best maternity hospitals in the country, but every day, she violates the Mount Sinai Trustee Code of Conduct by creating a dangerous working environment at Amazon.

Join us to hold Amazon and Edith Cooper accountable—and to say loudly: No one should suffer pregnancy loss or risk their baby’s life just for doing their job.

If you represent an organization interested in supporting Warehouse Life and pregnant Amazon workers, please visit this link and sign onto our letter to Edith Cooper and the Amazon board.
