Thousands of Michigan residents and families have been struggling for 15 years without a driver's license. It has led to families being separated, Michigan workers being deported, and entire communities living in fear.

Michigan lawmakers now have the opportunity to end this hardship by enacting the popular, common-sense legislative package, Drive S.A.F.E. (Safety, Access, Freedom, and Economy). These bills would improve the lives of Michigan residents by restoring Michigan's pre-2008 driver's license policy that ensured that every Michigan resident was able to apply for and renew their driver's license, regardless of their citizenship status.

However, despite these bills' popularity, politicians like Rep. Liberati continue to oppose common-sense legislation that would improve the lives of thousands of Michiganders.
