Tell Rep. Matt Hall to Fully Fund Michigan's Schools and Families

Michigan House of Representatives passed a 25-26 budget today that cuts $5 billion to school funding and 92% of the general fund, including defunding the Department of Health and Human Services.

The way budgets work is the Senate and Governor must also agree on the Budget. Rep Matt Hall is setting up a crisis to force a tougher negotiation. He is playing with the lives of students and families across this State.

482Forward and partners are going to continue to monitor the budget negations, which usually ends in June.

We need you today to tell Rep Matt Hall and the 58 Republican legislators who voted yes on this AND Detroit Democrat, Rep Karen Whitsett, to fully fund our schools and state!
