Tell the Camden County Democratic Committee to Respect Election Results

Please join us in taking a stand for democracy and free and fair elections! We are calling on the Camden County Democrats to withdraw their lawsuit against South Jersey Progressive Democrats, to accept the rightful outcome of the election, and allow us to build an active and inclusive municipal committee in Cherry Hill.

On June 10, 2025, Cherry Hill Democratic voters overwhelmingly elected the South Jersey Progressive Democrats slate for Democratic County Committee, winning 62% of the vote. The trio of progressives, Susan Druckenbrōd, Rena Margulis and David Stahl, are therefore empowered by state law to fill the remaining 71 seats that make up the entirety of the Cherry Hill committee seats. The Camden County Democratic Committee (CCDC) has filed an unprecedented lawsuit to try to prevent the vacant seats from being filled in this manner. They are arguing that, despite the large margin of victory, the CCDC Cherry Hill slate “tied” and that vacancies must therefore be picked from the losing slate.

The Camden County Democrats’ lawsuit is an attack on democracy. It’s an attempt to overturn election results and would silence the will of voters. Please take a minute to send a message to the Camden County Democratic Committee leaders and tell them to respect the voters’ will and the election results, and to enable the duly-elected Cherry Hill members of the County Committee to move forward to fill the seats. We’re ready to do the work! Let us do it!
