Clark County Is Stripping Indiana Landowners of the Right to Petition. Tell the Commissioners to Vote No.

Clark County's Plan Commission voted 5-3 to eliminate the Special Exception for solar on agricultural land — not to deny one project, but to remove every ag landowner's right to even request a hearing. Their own County Surveyor warned it will produce lawsuits. Their own Council President said they were "circumventing the process" before voting yes anyway.

Other Indiana counties have faced this same pressure and protected landowner rights. Clark County is going the other direction — and their decision will be cited by planning boards across this state.

You don't have to live in Clark County to have a stake in this. Send a letter as an Indiana resident and tell the commissioners to keep the door to petition open.
