Tell the Department of City Planning: Prioritize Housing Abundance

Atlanta's Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) could chart the future for our city for the next 5 years.

The Department of City Planning is leading an 18-month planning process to update the current Vision and Goals, Needs and Opportunities, Policies and Actions of Atlanta's CDP, also known as Plan A.

We want to make sure that the Department of City Planning knows that we want abundant housing across the entire City of Atlanta!

It's critical that we speak up and demand Mayor Dickens and the Dept. of City Planning that we need to plan for abundant and affordable housing. This includes making sure that we:

  • Build homes throughout the City in a way that will encourage more connection and walkability

  • Build enough homes throughout the City to properly plan for the tremendous growth already happening in a way that will allow people across the income spectrum to afford to live in Atlanta

  • Look to the Atlanta City Design and enact its policy recommendations

  • Create a vision that supports the entire city’s needs

Send a letter to the Department of City Planning and tell them that Plan A needs housing abundance!
