New Yorkers are eager to return to normalcy and re-open the state. However, businesses and nonprofits are fearful of potential COVID-19 related lawsuits.

The business community is asking Governor Cuomo to initiate State liability protections for the remainder of the COVID-19 crisis to protect businesses who act in good faith as long as they are not grossly negligent.
