Biden gave the green light for the publication of the ERA and declared it the law of the land. This is a testament to our organizing, our movement and the will of the American people for constitutional sex equality. National Archivist Colleen Shogan has disobeyed his orders and is refusing to publish. She is blocking our inclusion in the U.S. Constitution despite having the executive declaration she needs to act.

The National Archivist is the person in the executive branch responsible for certifying and publishing amendments into the U.S. Constitution. This is a ministerial role with no political authority. They work under Biden. President Biden’s declaration that the ERA is the “law of the land” gives National Archivist Colleen Shogan the green light she needs to certify and publish.

38 states and 100 damn years later, the ERA is finally here. We need YOU to take action today. The National Archivist must CERTIFY AND PUBLISH THE ERA NOW. As declared by President Biden, it is the law of the land.
