The Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to move forward with ending Temporary Protected Status for Haitian and Syrian TPS holders.

This devastating ruling puts more than 350,000 Haitian neighbors at risk of losing the protection that has allowed them to live, work, and care for their families in the United States. They have built their lives here while Haiti remains unsafe to return.

The House of Representatives already passed bipartisan legislation to extend TPS for Haiti until April 2029. Now, senators must step up and co-sponsor S. 4814, the Senate companion bill to protect Haitian TPS holders.

• Move quickly to pass legislation protecting Haitian TPS holders through April 2029.
