Tell the Westminster City Council to remove the Charlie Kirk sign!
The Westminster City Council’s decision to approve the Charlie Kirk sign has brought widespread ridicule to the city. Residents and community members of Westminster are asking the city council to prioritize actual governance that protects services and improves the quality of life for the city. These grandstanding political gestures to honor a divisive figure with no actual ties to Orange County have only further divided our community.
Sign the petition and send a letter to tell the Westminster City Council to remove the Charlie Kirk sign!
We demand that the Westminster City Council immediately rename the sign to its original name and call on the city to reverse its prior commitment to honor October 14th as Charlie Kirk Day.
Honoring the legacy of a controversial public figure whose platform was built explicitly on anti-immigrant rhetoric and scapegoating sets Westminster, a diverse city made up of immigrant communities, backward.
