We need your help: ICE has disappeared Helen Ojeda and her 7-month-old baby!

On April 27, 2026 Helen Ojeda and her 7-month-old baby were taken at an ICE check-in. As of April 29th, ICE has confirmed that Helen was deported, but they have not shared what country she has been deported to, and have not shared where her baby, who is a U.S. citizen, has been taken. We demand ICE disclose their location, and demand the family’s immediate release.

We have no idea where Helen and her infant are. ICE needs to know that the people of Washington oppose the disappearing and detention of our neighbors, and opposes the way that ICE uses the detention of children in mixed status families to coerce families into separating or deporting.
