Tell Congress to Pass Essential COVID and Global Health Funding!

As 2022 comes to a close, we are experiencing multiple global health crises.

Congress is voting on spending for 2023 THIS Friday. Unfortunately, the proposed budget does not meet the moment when it comes to pandemic preparedness and response.

We still need funding for the following items:

  • Funding to ensure COVID tests and treatments can remain free in the U.S. and accessible around the world

  • Support for the World Health Organization-backed mRNA Hub to increase global vaccine equity

  • Increased funding to advance global access to lifesaving HIV treatment.

  • Additionally, we still need the creation of a Domestic and Global Response Plan for Long COVID and Associated Diseases (including ME/CFS) with the funding, policies, programs research, and accountability to directly affected, independent communities required for impact.

It's time that our government prioritizes funding for health care, here in the U.S. and around the world.

Activists gathered at the White House on December 1st to make these demands clear, and this week is our final push to make sure our lawmakers hear our voices. We need to make it clear that people from every corner of the country are demanding affordable, accessible, and common-sense solutions to end our global health nightmares NOW!
