This year we have a full agenda including seven bills that have either been introduced or will be over the next week:
Bill 1(HF1987/SF2229): MN Starter Home Act
Bill 2(HF2140/SF2231): Increased Housing Options Act
Bill 3(HF2018/SF2286): Reducing Rent Inflation Act
Bill 4(HF1309/SF1268): People Over Parking Act
Bill 5(Pending): Freedom in Home Design Act
Bill 6(Pending): Condo Defect Reform Act
Bill 7(Pending): Ending Exclusionary Zoning Act
Taken together, these bills will make it easier for our state to increase the housing options we need to grow and prosper.
Several of these bills will be heard in Housing Committees in both the House and Senate this week: March 11-13, 2025.
