**UPDATED April 30, 2024**

While the House arts appropriations request letters have closed, we still need your help reaching Senate offices about increased federal arts funding in FY25.

Contact your Senators and ask them to join the arts appropriations request letter being circulated by Sen. Jack Reed in support of funding the NEA and NEH at no less than $211 million in FY25!

Congress is already making decisions about next year’s funding for the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), and it needs to hear from you!

We can increase NEA and NEH funding to at least $211 million next year if we get enough support in Congress.

Contact your members of Congress today to ask that they sign their names in support of funding the NEA and NEH at no less than $211 million in FY25. Ask them to join the arts appropriations request letters circulating in their respective chambers.

NEA and NEH grants support job opportunities for union creative professionals in every state while providing all Americans with access to enriching programs that lift up local economies. These grants come with important workplace protections. Additionally, the NEA and NEH are critical to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the arts, entertainment, and media industries.

Taking action today helps get us closer to our ultimate goal of restoring the NEA and NEH to a full funding level of $1 per capita.
