The Renters' Rights Act came into law this year. It delivered the biggest improvements to renters' security and safety in generations - but the fight is far from over. Only phase 1 of three in the roll out of the Renters' Rights Act has been completed, and how effective the law is, and how much of an impact we feel in our homes, depends on how these next stages go.

That is why the RRC is holding an event in Parliament called'What's next for the Renters' Rights Act? Delivering renters rights in our homes'. There, we will:

• Remind MPs that the Renters' Rights Act hasn't been delivered in full
• Hold them to account in finishing the job
• Share with them our demands to ensure that the Renters' Rights Act is delivered in every home, not just in Parliament

We need you to ask your MP to attend the event on your behalf. They need to know that when the 18 organisations in our coalition are setting out our demands, we have the backing of renters. We need to show the Government that it isn't just charities and not-for-profits holding them to account, but voters too.

It only takes a minute, and it makes more of a difference than you'd think.
