Tell Your Rep: Bring MPF Priorities to House Listening Sessions!
We finally have an update on the Climate Rollback Bill from the State House. Next week (1/20-22/26), the House Ways and Means committee and House leadership are holding listening sessions for Representatives to weigh in on what changes they would like to see to the Climate Rollback Bill.
Take action today and urge your Representative to bring the Mass Power Forward Policy Priorities and new Fact Sheet to those sessions.
Our victory in November stopped the bill in its tracks in the Ways and Means Committee with your grassroots activism. The listening sessions are an unprecedented step on any recent climate bill. We forced our politicians to stop and change a bill that they wanted to pass without our input or oversight.
This bill could be the vehicle for stopping costly gas infrastructure expansion and reducing bills with clean energy. With our help, it can keep building an affordable, livable future in the face of attacks from Washington. But for that to happen, we need our State Representatives to push hard to both include our provisions in the bill and remove the bad ones.
Join us in pushing for clean, affordable energy and send your legislator the Mass Power Forward Policy Priorities and new Fact Sheet today.
