Tell these Democrats: Genocide is no time for an AIPAC trip to Israel

In early August, 15 Democratic Members of Congress took an AIPAC trip to Israel during Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza.

They chose to spend their recess in Israel instead of in their districts, even though 92% of Democrats oppose Israel’s military actions in Gaza.1

While AIPAC’s influence is shrinking (this was their smallest Democratic delegation ever), no Member of Congress should accept an AIPAC-sponsored trip, especially as Israel starves civilians, bombs hospitals, and destroys entire neighborhoods in Gaza.

Over 61,000 Palestinians have been killed, more than half women and children. The destruction is catastrophic: 90% of homes destroyed, all 12 universities and 80% of schools demolished, and no hospitals are fully functioning.2

The 15 Democratic Members of Congress who took the trip:

  • Rep. Greg Landsman (D-OH)

  • Rep. Pete Aguilar (D-CA)

  • Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD)

  • Rep. Brad Schneider (D-IL)

  • Rep. Tim Kennedy (D-NY)

  • Rep. Nellie Pou (D-NJ)

  • Rep. Wesley Bell (D-MO)

  • Rep. Luz Rivas (D-CA)

  • Rep. Herb Conaway (D-NJ)

  • Rep. George Latimer (D-NY)

  • Rep. Josh Riley (D-NY)

  • Rep. Gil Cisneros (D-CA)

  • Rep. Laura Gillen (D-NY)

  • Rep. Johnny Olszewski (D-MD)

  • Rep. Eugene Vindman (D-VA)

Tell these Members that we are watching and we will remember their choice to go on this AIPAC-sponsored trip.

Send your letter to their Chiefs of Staff now.
