This March, President Trump issued an executive order that took away statutory union rights from over one million federal employees. President Trump’s executive order isn’t just unlawful, it threatens these civil servants’ professional integrity.

Fortunately, we can take action right now to stand up for these federal employees and their professional integrity while legal challenges make their way through the courts by asking our Representatives in the House to sign the discharge petition for the Protect America’s Workforce Act (H.R. 2550).

The Protect America’s Workforce Act is a bipartisan bill that would undo President Trump’s March executive order and restore federal union rights. The bill is cosponsored by a majority of House members, which means it would pass if there was a vote today. However, Speaker Johnson is blocking the bill from receiving a floor vote.

We can override Speaker Johnson’s refusal to allow a floor vote if 218 House members sign the discharge petition.
