Tell Your Senators: Protect Haitian TPS First When You Return

The Senate has gone home until after Election Day, and senators left without acting to protect 350,000 Haitian refugees. Since TPS for Haitians ended in July, ICE has ramped up deportation flights from once a month to once a week. People who followed every rule are being sent to a country where more than 3,000 people were killed in the first six months of this year.

Forty-seven senators have stood up. Fifty-three still haven't.

S. 4814 would restore TPS for Haiti. The House already passed this protection 224 to 204 with votes from both parties. When senators return on November 9, they'll have only a few weeks left before this Congress ends and the bill dies.

Your message goes to both of your senators. If they've co-sponsored, it thanks them and asks them to fight for a vote as soon as they return. If they haven't, it tells them to sign on now.
