Tell Your State Senator to Pass the Bipartisan House Budget and Fund Our Schools

Democratic leaders brought a state budget totaling $50.25 billion to the floor in the Pennsylvania House and it passed with bipartisan support. This budget includes a fully-funded second installment of adequacy funding and $175 million in cyber charter savings for districts.

We have now passed 100 days in this budget impasse and our schools are facing serious challenges that are negatively impacting students and taxpayers.

It is past time for lawmakers in Harrisburg to come together to support the children and communities they represent with the speedy approval of a full 2025-2026 state budget that will fund our schools.

Please contact your senator today and urge them to immediately pass the bipartisan House budget.

This budget takes another step toward meeting the state’s constitutional obligation to public schools. It also enacts reforms to Pennsylvania’s cyber charter school funding system that will begin to rein in enormous overpayments to cyber charter schools and ensure that the hard-earned tax dollars Pennsylvanians pay to their school districts will be spent on educational services for students, not wasted by cyber charters on advertising, parties, gift cards and more.

Please contact your state senator today.
