Thank Supervisor Melgar for her unflinching support of much needed new housing!

SF Chronicle

San Francisco's West Portal could get 172 homes instead of 64 at the shuttered Empire Theater site, thanks to the Family Zoning Plan and Supervisor Melgar's support. The new proposal offers 26 affordable units (15% per FZP versus the city's current 5% requirement), half of which will target “very low income” households and half moderate income families, 7,000 square feet of retail space in two store fronts, a community lounge, and rooftop fitness centers. More than half of the units will be two- and three-bedrooms. You can read more about the updated project here.

Write to Supervisor Melgar thanking her today for her support!
