Thank you and congratulations to the BMA

Please join us in thanking and congratulating the BMA and its members for taking such a principled stand on the vital issue of freedom of expression on Palestine in the medical profession. The IHRA definition of antisemitism is one of the main tools being used to silence criticism of the genocide in Palestine, and to accuse critics of Israel or Zionism of antisemitism. The BMA annual representative meeting in June 2026 just voted to reject the IHRA definition by a large majority. Please email the BMA to thank them for this taking this principled moral and ethical position.

The BMA is coming under pressure from the Zionist lobby to reverse the policy, which was passed after a democratic vote. Lets show the BMA that the public is behind them!

The IHRA definition is not fit for purpose, and the weaponisation of antisemitism

Polls of public opinion repeatedly show that a large majority of the public have very negative views of Israel
