Please thank you King County Councilmembers who just voted to fix the cap that would have siphoned nearly $3 million of regressive sales tax from Seattleites to subsidize building roads in wealthy suburbs every year, in perpetuity. The fixed proposal treats all incorporated cities fairly, without singling out Seattle, while still directing most of the funding to unincorporated areas.
