As they justified their abysmal counteroffer that would still amount to an effective pay decrease, they openly said that we should sacrifice sleep to be graduate students. They openly insinuated that international students without financial privilege do not deserve to be here. They think that since they had to skip sleep, work weekends, and live off instant noodles in grad school that you should too. We deserve better, and NMSU can do better.
