The new EHRC guidance banning trans people from single sex spaces and services is unworkable, regressive and dangerous, and will impact trans students access to public spaces, both on and off campus.

All students including non-binary and trans students deserve to feel safe and included in our University community, and beyond.

Follow the steps to automatically email York MPs with your concerns and call on them to:

• Demand full parliamentary scrutiny, debate and a free vote on the Code.

• Support any motion tabled in Parliament objecting to it.

• Write to the Minister for Women and Equalities and the Prime Minister.
