📢 Unsafe Streets, Failed Leadership – Tell City Council Enough is Enough
Jersey City residents deserve safe streets, but reckless driving, poor traffic enforcement, and a failing school crossing guard program are putting lives at risk every day. Leadership failures at the highest levels of public safety have allowed dangerous conditions to persist, with no real plan to fix them.
Under Director James Shea, enforcement of traffic laws has been inconsistent, crossing guard shortages remain unresolved, and preventable crashes continue to harm pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers alike. Public safety isn’t just about crime—it’s about making sure our streets are safe for everyone.
The city has failed to act. If they won’t take action on their own, we must demand it.
