Urge Gov. Shapiro to Reinstate the Fracking Moratorium in Dimock
Dimock, PA’s water supply has been ravaged by fracking. In 2020, the natural gas industry operating in the community was criminally charged and found guilty for flagrantly breaking environmental law.
While drilling was banned in the area for years, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection quietly permitted gas production to resume in 2022. After years of polluted drinking water, the people of Dimock are yet again at risk.
Tell PA Governor Josh Shapiro to reinstate the fracking moratorium in Dimock, deliver fresh water to impacted residents, and finally clean up the water supply for good.
