Urge the Queensland Government to Release Iconic Crocodile Old Faithful Back to His Home
Last week, the Queensland Government removed Old Faithful—a well-known 4.5m saltwater crocodile—from his home in Rinyirru National Park.
There is no evidence that Old Faithful acted aggressively or posed a threat to people, meaning he does not fit the criteria for removal. Despite this, Old Faithful is now sitting in a government holding facility, earmarked to be sent to a factory farm - we must ensure this doesn’t happen.
This decision undermines the protection of Queensland’s wildlife.
We are calling on the Queensland Government to return Old Faithful to his natural habitat in Rinyirru National Park, where he belongs.
