Urge Your Virginia State Senator to Support a Ban on Foam!

The Virginia Senate is gearing up to vote on Delegate Betsy Carr's HB 1902, which bans single-use polystyrene foam cups and food containers. Most everyone can agree that plastic pollution is a huge problem, and nothing that we use for a few minutes should be allowed to pollute our rivers and oceans for hundreds of years. Plastics and polystyrene break down into microplastics that are now found in our rivers and streams, drinking water, fish and oysters, and in our bodies. This bipartisan bill passed the House of Delegates, and now it is up to the Virginia Senate to pass it, too. Help get HB 1902 over the finish line by sending your state senator a message in support of the bill!
