Agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) are conducting violent operations in our neighborhoods, forcibly removing refugees and entering homes without legal warrants. Meanwhile, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) uses its official communications to spread rhetoric aligned with neo-Nazi ideology. Public anger is growing, and constituents are calling on Congress to impose strict controls on DHS, not to increase its resources

Despite this, bipartisan leadership in Congress is now advancing a bill to provide DHS with more funding for 2026. The proposed legislation boosts two of ICE’s central budget items: an increase of over $400 million for immigration detention, raising that line from $3.43 billion to $3.84 billion, and an additional $370 million for street-level enforcement operations, increasing that funding from $5.08 billion to $5.45 billion.

This blood money, stolen from your healthcare and food aid, comes on top of $45 billion already bankrolling this state-sponsored cruelty. Tell your senators that Congress must oppose every single additional dollar for DHS.
