As a retired UFT educator, I am someone who cares deeply about the future of our schools, our profession and the colleagues who continue to serve our students every day. While I am no longer in the classroom, I remain committed to the strength and sustainability of our public education system, and that includes ensuring that educators receive fair, stable and competitive retirement benefits. I urge our state legislators to vote no on any budget that does not include significant reform to Tier 6.
