Vote YES to support A Safer Kingston Road - Email Mayor and Infrastructure & Envrionment Committee

Send an email BEFORE this Thursday's vote!

This Thursday December 4, City staff are bringing a report that supports installing A Safer Kingston Road for all road users to a vote at City Council’s Infrastructure and Environment Committee. This is a huge win for our communities along Kingston Rd which are cut in half by a dangerous, deadly highway.

Now, days before the vote, Councillor Parthi Kandavel is trying to keep Kingston Rd as a dangerous highway and will try to water down the plan that experts have put together.

Hear what he has to say in this CityNews video interview. Councillor Parthi Kandavel doesn’t want to support A Safer Kingston Rd: “If you’re going to limit folks to not make a right on a red, that’s a problem. I’m going to look to keep the 60 km/h speed limit.”

We need you to send an email right now using this tool to Mayor Chow and the members of the Infrastructure and Environment Committee (IEC) sharing your support for City staff’s expert plan for A Safer Kingston Rd.
