After years of rising patient loads, short staffing, unfilled vacancy rates, and delivering care through public health emergencies, the State is repaying its doctors by freezing wages.

The Governor’s “no increases” stance for State employee compensation is unacceptable. He cannot enact cuts that shortchange the doctors who provide essential care to the State’s most vulnerable and at-risk population.
