AI is affecting so many aspects of our lives, and it is currently unregulated. There are no rules and there is nothing governing the liability for any harms that it may unleash.

We the people should have a voice at the table when it comes to regulating this new seemingly invasive technology. Colorado passed a law in May 2024, the Colorado Artificial Intelligence Act (CAIA), that regulates AI and is set to take effect June 2026. Some of our lawmakers want to see a stronger AI law passed (SB25-318) in the upcoming session and some want to see AI regulation in Colorado disappear. This movement seeks to bring people from Colorado together to demand our lawmakers strongly regulate AI in Colorado.
