On July 2nd, WOOD TV 8 aired a story that provided a platform for the Michigan Liberty Militia to present their ideology. The channel 8 journalist did not question these men, nor did they investigate their claims. We are asking people to contact WOOD TV 8 and tell them that the story they aired was poor journalism, with unsubstantiated claims, plus it provided a free platform for a White Supremacist group. Demand that WOOD TV 8 make a formal apology, especially to the Black community, on air during an evening newscast, then remove any version of the original story from their website and any other platform it may be on. We want these demands to be met by July 13th.
