Write a Letter of Concern to the Wayne State University Administration
Over the past year, students, faculty, alumni, and community members of Wayne State University have gotten together on multiple occasions to participate in the student movement for a free Palestine. For standing against genocide and violence, the WSU administration has been meeting its constituents with police force and other means of repression. Students for Justice in Palestine is a central student organization for this movement and it is now supplemented by the Nuseirat Collective - a network of Wayne State University community members who call on the Board of Governors and the Wayne State Foundation to withdraw financial support from companies complicit in apartheid and genocide.
We want to make our stance known to the WSU administration. In an unprecedented era of extreme violence and escalations in an ongoing genocide, universities are desperately evolving methods to repress their students who have basic demands for divestment out of solidarity with the people of Gaza. Join us in expressing our concerns and demands to the WSU administration.
