Florida Republicans are Pushing another Anti-Immigrant Bill

In yet another display of horrific, but wholly unsurprising cruelty, Republicans in the Florida Legislature are introducing an anti-children bill. House Bill 1355, filed by Representative John Snyder of Stuart Florida, seeks to use the power of our State’s government to penalize private Florida businesses and further demonize immigrant children. Instead of fixing Florida’s broken unemployment system, protecting the state’s environment, or helping to guide us through a pandemic that continues to claim Floridian lives every day, Ron Desantis’ lackeys in the legislature insist on wasting our time and tax dollars on these useless bills.
