Prime Minister Mark Carney just released the newest federal budget, exposing his plans to pour even more taxpayer money into fossil fuel projects at the expense of Indigenous sovereignty, our environment, and public services.
The budget includes billions for new fossil fuel projects and military spending, enriching the government’s oil & gas buddies under the false pretense of “nation-building.” Carney’s plan also opens the door for the big banks to invest in extraction projects.
