Scottish Government: take action to stop the genocide!

On Saturday, 2nd August, we achieved an important step forward when protesters from all corners of Scotland forced John Swinney and his government to acknowledge that there is a genocide in Gaza. With this acknowledgement comes a serious responsibility on the Scottish Government to take all measures in its power to refrain from complicity in, and to prevent and punish the genocide.

The Scottish Government has now used the word genocide - for that word to have meaning, the Scottish Government must act. This letter sets out three key steps the Scottish Government can take towards its obligations and responsibilities under international law. It took all our voices with the cries of Palestine to reach this point -  raise your voice with us and sign this letter to make words lead to action.
