Let’s be clear, whatever they’re selling it as, this is a propaganda tour to manufacture support for a government under investigation for war crimes and genocide.

For over 600 days, we've witnessed unprecedented devastation in Gaza: 62,000+ Palestinians killed, hospitals and universities destroyed, and over one million people being deliberately starved by an extremist government in Israel.

Illinois voters have made it clear that we do not support the slaughter of innocent people and we stand resolutely against the moral outrage that is the mass murder and starvation of innocent children.

This is a moment that demands moral clarity.

Instead of participating in Netanyahu's tour, our officials should call for a permanent ceasefire and stand with constituents who believe in justice.
