Yesterday, Tuesday March 3, Ypsilanti City passed a 365 moratorium on data centers. Ypsilanti Township needs to follow in their footsteps! We are tired of hearing the township get on its knees and beg the university to move the data center to another part of our beautiful township. Now is the time to STOP THE DATA CENTER, pass a moratorium on data centers, and if you can't regulate the University, you can deny DTE the permits to build the infrastructure UM needs. We want to see some teeth from our township board!

As well, The International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) offers language for cities to pass a ban on nuclear weapons. ICAN is a coalition of non-governmental organizations in one hundred countries promoting adherence to and implementation of the United Nations Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. Ypsilanti does not want to contribute to the proliferation of nuclear weapons!
