2026 Catapult Pledge for Breast Cancer’s New Era

Federal Policymakers, Federal Agencies, State-Level Policymakers, Private Sector & Philanthropy

The science exists to detect and diagnose early, and train our own immune systems to fight off cancer. Ending breast cancer requires concrete, measurable action driven by funding for and access to innovations in care, advocacy, science, and research. We pledge to accelerate the development and delivery of lifesaving advances across the full spectrum of breast cancer care, from universal access to early detection, to an AI-driven revolution in research and treatments, to immunologic breakthroughs and therapeutic vaccines, and precision medicine too often stalled behind outdated systems. Every delay costs lives.

2026 is the year we commit to a catapult approach to kickstart and accelerate the dawn of a new era for breast cancer, a unified effort to achieve what has long been considered out of reach.

By pledging, you are throwing your support behind these 4 goals:

  1. Prioritize breast cancer research funding with federal and private investment in AI-enabled innovations, immunotherapies, and therapeutic vaccines, alongside other solutions capable of extending and saving lives now.
  2. Remove obsolete regulatory and reimbursement barriers that prevent patients at every stage of disease from accessing transformative treatments and clinical trials.
  3. Build patient-centered pathways that fast-track promising science, led by novel biomarkers, advanced immunology, precision medicine, and AI, which can improve outcomes in real-world care.
  4. Ensure universal early detection of breast cancer, including equitable access to advanced imaging and diagnostics for all women, particularly those with dense breasts, so no life is lost because cancer was found too late.

We refuse to allow biology, geography, wealth, or outdated science to determine who survives this life-altering disease. By affirming that every life matters, 2026 becomes the year the world turns decisively toward ending breast cancer.

Every delay costs lives. In 2026, no one should have to endure painful cancer treatments or die from breast cancer. The science exists to detect early, harness our immune systems, and deliver breakthroughs, but outdated systems and barriers are standing in the way.

We’re calling for a catapult approach: bold, unified action to accelerate lifesaving advances in breast cancer care. By signing this petition, you’ll help drive four urgent goals:

1. Fund breast cancer research.
2. Remove barriers.
3. Fast-track patient-centered pathways.
4. Guarantee universal early detection.

This is the year we turn decisively toward ending breast cancer. Together, we can make 2026 the year breast cancer becomes survivable for all.
