​The owner of an innocent 1-year-old dog in Yakutsk, Siberia decided he no longer wanted her. So he heartlessly poured cold water​ all over her body, outdoors in below-32-degree-temperature, until she slowly and painfully froze into a solid block of ice.

In the excruciating moments before her death, the dog remained conscious and terrified, desperately waving one paw in a final plea for help. But it was too late. By the time animal activists arrived and were able to rush the poor dog to the vet, her tiny body had already shut down beyond repair.

"The eyes, I will never forget them," said one witness. "Did you ever see a man who wanted to live but who was already dying?"

Despite this sickeningly cruel act being caught on video, police have failed to take any action whatsoever. This is not acceptable -- the perpetrator must be held accountable for this sadistic act​ or else other animal abusers will get the message that they, too, can torture and kill without consequence.

I'm signing this petition to letting you know that the world is now watching this horrifying case, and to urge you to do everything in your power to ensure law enforcement investigates and prosecutes at once -- and enacts a lifetime ban on this man from ever owning an animal again.
