This will undoubtedly lead to a greater spread of misinformation and disinformation, causing fear, hate, and conspiracies to spread online – the same formula that led to the violent insurrection in 2021 – just in time for Trump’s second term. Meta is already catering to Trump and his extremist allies so that Zuckerberg can continue to line his pockets.
