This is urgent: the Trump administration has released a new rule (Rule 1303) designed to cut people off from abortion care by targeting insurance providers.
We need you to speak out against this rule by signing this petition now!

The Trump administration has released a new rule designed to make it impossible for some health insurers to cover abortion. They’re trying to stigmatize abortion care -- pushing insurance plans to drop coverage of abortion altogether and harming patients who need access to this basic reproductive health care.

What does that mean?

It means insurance companies would be forced to jump through ridiculous hoops in order to cover abortion care. It means over a million people who are covered by the Affordable Care Act would be affected by this new rule and many could lose access to abortion care.

It’s all part of the Trump-Pence administration’s broader campaign to eliminate access to and coverage for reproductive health care -- and we have to speak up.

It’s so important for you to voice your opposition to this anti-abortion rule change. Will you join us in speaking out now?

Sign the petition now to the Department of Health and Human Services to voice your dissent for this new ruling limiting access to abortion. Let them know you stand with Planned Parenthood! >>

I urge you to stop the Trump administration’s new rule and stop trying to restrict health care coverage for abortion care.

The Trump administration’s new rule will change coverage for abortion care for 1.3 million people under their current health insurance plans. These onerous restrictions could cause patients to lose their coverage for abortion care and stigmatize a basic form of reproductive health care. That’s unacceptable.

Thank you.
